PGCE SECONDARY GEOGRAPHY

Year of entry: 2025

About the course

Teach students across the 11- 16 or 11-18 age range about the ever-changing world they live in and how natural processes and external forces now, and in the past, are affecting the future of the Earth and its inhabitants. Through this broad, interesting and practical subject, you will support your students to make sense of the wonders and complexities surrounding us, helping them to develop a diverse set of skills, applicable to many careers from conservation to policy.

James Adshead

PGCE Secondary Geography student

“One of my highlights has been making an impact on placement for both students and members of staff throughout the school by making the effort to become an integral part of the team and being respected by other members of staff.”

PGCE Secondary Geography alum Adam is teaching the international GCSE at a boarding school in London, while inspiring the next generations through impactful climate change initiatives
