Kai Smith

PGCE History trainee

Kai trained did his PGCE History at the University of Manchester in 2021-22. Following this he secured his first teaching post and he is now in his third year of teaching. Kai says ‘I had an amazing experience both at UoM and on my teaching placements, which were contrasting and hugely rewarding. Support from my university tutor and school-based mentors was incredible – they were always there to help and advise me. The PGCE History course at UoM is incredibly comprehensive, and as a result I had a smooth transition from the PGCE to my firs teaching post. I’d absolutely recommend this course!’
