MODERN LANGUAGES

• PGCE Secondary French • PGCE Secondary German • PGCE Secondary Spanish

"I always thought I would enjoy teaching, but even my first term of the PGCE has confirmed this more than I had imagined."

- alumna Naomi Rittey (read more of her story below)

Show your students the world through language. Teaching modern languages across the 11-16 or 11-18 age range is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to travel and see beyond boundaries through the study of cultures and traditions, alongside key linguistic skills.

You’ll develop your expertise through creative, motivating, and engaging language lessons, and enable students to benefit from the development of an increasingly sought-after skill in today’s globalised world.

Naomi's PGCE

PGCE Secondary Modern Languages

Naomi's year abroad working as a language assistant in Spain has confirmed her passion of working with young people, which is why she wants to pass on this enjoyment through teaching.

“The tutors are super dedicated to teaching us all that they know; they all come with their own experiences, stories, and advice. Our tutors share this with us to help us develop as teachers ourselves. They are always there if you need anything and have answers and advice for whatever you need.”
