About the course
Our MSc distance-learning course will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to help prevent and respond to international disasters.
When disasters strike, they require a rapid and often global response, creating challenges for rescue and humanitarian workers. There is a need to build resilience and develop knowledge and skills to prevent or mitigate the scale of disasters and also a demand to prepare and equip responders in advance of the disaster event to deliver the most effective and efficient response.
Our course is consistent with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015- 2030, which emphasises disaster education.
This course offers flexible fully online and asynchronous study to enable part-time students to obtain a Master’s degree without residency or boundary restrictions.
Study via distance learning without leaving home or interrupting your career.
