Dr Vera Hohaus
Lecturer in Linguistics and Director of the Psycholinguistics Laboratory
Dr Vera Hohaus is a Lecturer in Linguistics and the current PGT Programme Director. Her research investigates how meaning emerges from the interaction of syntactic structure, lexical information, composition principles and context. She is particularly interested in how far this interaction is subject to crosslinguistic variation, and in the repercussions of this variation for first language acquisition and processing.
Professor Delia Bentley
Professor of Romance Linguistics
Professor Delia Bentley is a Professor of Romance Linguistics. Her principal research interest is in the interface of syntax with discourse and lexical meaning, which she explores on evidence from the microvariation attested synchronically in the grammars of the lesser-known Romance languages.
