Nuno Pinto is the MSc Data Science Urban Analytics pathway lead. Nuno’s research focuses on the use of quantitative methods and data to support planning, transport and development processes. This research is part of the curricula in courses such as Applied Spatial Analysis and Decision Support Systems in Planning. The pathway brings together competences and skills on using data with planning theories and methods for dealing with urban related problems, which can be found in the Smart Cities policy agenda and the Urban Analytics approach to urban planning and management.
