Tom's Manchester
Tom, from Uganda, chose to study at Manchester as he believes in the importance for a nation to strive to attain a better income status to develop sustainably. With key readings on environmental management having been authored by Manchester academics, Tom saw the University as a perfect place to start.
Tom describes Manchester as “home away from home” and felt truly settled in with the help of events and activities run at the University.
