Where will your course take you?

The demand for well-rounded law graduates continues to grow worldwide. Our courses allow you to develop a variety of both subject-specific and transferable skills suited to a wide variety of roles, such as critical thinking, legal analysis, research, problem-solving and communication.

Most of our recent graduates have gone on to work with leading organisations in states, government agencies, international courts and tribunals, law firms and multinational corporations, international arbitration and other ADR mechanisms, and at top universities, with job titles such as Commercial Arbitrator, Conflict Management Specialist, Consultant, Manager, and Researcher.

Many graduates also continue their research by studying a PhD in Law, either at Manchester or at another leading university, where they expand the boundaries of our knowledge and pursue careers in research or academia.

Betty Kioko

Transnational Dispute Resolution LLM Graduate

“My plan is to work in International Law and Dispute Settlement. Studying at Manchester is preparing me for this by allowing me to interact with leading scholars and practitioners in the field as well as learn the workings of other countries. In addition to this, the lectures and seminars are structured in such a way as to prepare you for the industry rather than simply acting as academic exercises.“
